Privacy Policy

Disclaimer

White Dahlia Chauffeur Services, LLC, provides private transportation services in and around San Diego, California. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit our website, book a ride, or interact with us in any way.

1) Scope

This Policy covers personal information we collect online (website, forms, emails, SMS) and offline (phone bookings, in-vehicle). It does not cover information processed by third parties we don’t control (e.g., payment processors or travel platforms you use to book).

2) Information We Collect
  • Identifiers & contact details: name, email, phone, billing and service addresses.

  • Trip & logistics data: pickup/drop-off, dates/times, flight numbers, passenger count, special instructions, preferences, and precise location data (e.g., GPS/driver app) necessary to provide service.

  • Payment info: cardholder name and last 4 digits; full card data is handled by our PCI-compliant processor, Square.

  • Communications: emails, SMS, call details (and call recordings if you consent or where legally permitted).

  • Device/usage data: IP, browser, cookies/analytics, and interaction logs.

  • Optional in-vehicle cameras (if used): exterior road-facing (and interior only if clearly posted). We do not record audio/video unless posted/required.

3) How We Use Information
  • Provide, schedule, route, and complete rides; coordinate airport pickups; verify identity; handle customer support and safety.

  • Take payment, prevent fraud/abuse, manage disputes/chargebacks.

  • Send service messages (booking confirmations, driver on-the-way, receipts) and—with your consent—marketing updates.

  • Maintain security, comply with law, improve our services and website.

  • Sensitive personal information (SPI): We use SPI such as precise location only as reasonably necessary to provide the service and for security/fraud prevention. If we ever use SPI for other purposes, you may have the right to limit such use and we’ll provide a “Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information” mechanism. California Privacy Protection Agency

4) Cookies, Analytics & Tracking

We use cookies and similar tech for core functionality (e.g., session, fraud prevention) and analytics. Your browser may send a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal; California’s CalOPPA requires disclosure of how we respond. We currently do not alter our practices based solely on DNT, but if we ever “sell” or “share” data for advertising, we will honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) opt-out signals for sale/sharing. California DOJ+1

5) Disclosures of Personal Information

We disclose information to:

  • Service providers/contractors (dispatch, payment processing, SMS/email, mapping, analytics, hosting) under contracts limiting use to our business purposes.

  • Business transfers, legal, and safety (e.g., subpoenas, fraud/security incidents).
We do not disclose passenger video/audio unless required by law or for safety/incident review.

6) “Sale”/“Sharing” and Targeted Advertising (California)

We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by California law. If that changes, we will:

  • Add a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link,

  • Honor GPC signals as a valid opt-out, and

  • Update this Policy and our notices. California DOJ+1

7) Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have the right to: know/access specific pieces and categories of data we collect; delete personal information; correct inaccuracies; opt-out of sale/sharing; limit use/disclosure of sensitive personal information (where applicable); and not be discriminated against for exercising rights. We will also respect user-enabled global privacy controls for sale/sharing opt-outs if those practices apply. California DOJCalifornia Privacy Protection Agency
